Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (knee) is practicing in full for the second straight day on Thursday and should be fine to play in Week 9 against the Houston Texans as long as he doesn't suffer a setback in Friday's practice. He's dealing with a knee injury that he's been playing through for several weeks now, and although he may not be 100 percent, he's probably going to be fine to play this weekend. The Texans defense is around middle of the pack in the league in terms of fantasy points allowed to QBs on a weekly basis, and Mayfield is the overall QB20 in total fantasy points at the position through the first eight weeks of the 2023 season. Consider him a midrange QB2 option, at best, in Week 9 action.
