Austin Ekeler Thrives In The Passing Game In Week 8

Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler struggled on the ground in Week 8, but was excellent in the passing game in what ended up as a 30-13 win. Ekeler ran the ball 15 times for just 29 scoreless yards. He was targeted eight times in the passing game though, making seven catches for 94 yards and a touchdown. His longest gain on the ground was only seven yards, as his rushing work continues to be mediocre at best. Still, Ekeler truly shines in the passing game, and he did just that today, leading the team in receiving yards. The Chargers will face the Jets on Monday Night Football next.
