Arik Armstead To Undergo Knee Surgery

San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Arik Armstead (knee) reportedly suffered a torn meniscus in the team's win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Dec. 3 and he will need offseason surgery to fix it. The 2015 first-round pick missed the remainder of the regular season after the injury but returned for the Niners' three playoff games. He compiled 11 tackles, two run-stuffs, and one sack during the postseason. The injury should not affect his 2024 regular season status. The 49ers should continue to have one of the best defensive fronts in the NFL moving forward.
