Antonio Gibson Has His Best Game Thursday Night
one year ago

Washington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson didn't see a single carry in the 40-20 loss to the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football, but he still managed to post his best performance of the year. Gibson saw six targets in the passing game and caught four of them for 64 yards, which was third on the team behind tight end Logan Thomas and receiver Curtis Samuel. The Commanders were forced to abandon the ground game after falling behind big in the first half, which benefitted the 25-year-old pass-catching back. Coming into Week 5, Gibson had just eight receptions for 68 yards and 13 carries for 54 yards. It was nice to see him finally get more involved, but he's still a shaky RB3/flex play in deep PPR leagues moving forward.
