Anthony Richardson Looks Decent In Debut
one year ago

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson finished the Week 1 loss to Jacksonville by throwing for 223 yards, one touchdown, and one interception off 24-for-37 passing. He added 10 carries for 40 yards and a touchdown, finding the end zone off of a two-yard run early in the second quarter. The rookie had a decent showing on Sunday. He was more accurate than most had expected and made big plays using his legs. However, Richardson needs to become a better thrower because he can't continue to take as many hits moving forward. At any rate, the 2023 No. 4 overall pick has shown enough to warrant starting consideration in Week 2 versus the Houston Texans.
