Anthony Richardson Is Fine
one year ago

Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson (ankle, knee) hit his left knee on the turf in the first quarter of the Week 1 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and also had a hit on his ankle later in the game, but both head coach Shane Steichen and Richardson said that he's fine. Richardson is dealing with ankle and knee soreness and could have returned to his first NFL game after taking four sacks and being hit six times. The No. 4 overall pick in this year's draft went 24-for-37 for 223 yards with a touchdown and an interception, adding 10 carries for 40 yards and an additional score. The 21-year-old should play in Week 2 against the Houston Texans, where he'll have QB1 upside in a good matchup.
