Anthony Barr Elevated Ahead Of Week 11

Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr has been elevated from the practice squad ahead of the Week 11 matchup against the Denver Broncos. The veteran linebacker signed with the organization earlier this week. He spent the first eight seasons of his pro career in Minnesota after being drafted in the first round by them in 2014. During that span, Barr was an impact player with 17.5 sacks during his time in Minnesota. The Vikings could use the extra depth with Jordan Hicks (shin) landing on the injured reserve. Barr should be able to step up and help this Vikings defense immediately.
