Amari Cooper Unlikely To Play Monday Night
one year ago

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (groin), who aggravated a groin injury at practice on Saturday, is considered unlikely to play on Monday night against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a source. The Browns officially listed Cooper as questionable to play on Saturday. Fantasy managers should remove Cooper from their starting lineups now and hope he can return to action in Week 3 at home against the Tennessee Titans. With Cooper expected to be out, the Browns' passing attack will have to lean more heavily on Donovan People-Jones, Elijah Moore and Marquise Goodwin, with rookie Cedric Tillman also to have a bigger role. Tight end David Njoku will see more targets through the air as well from quarterback Deshaun Watson.
