Amari Cooper Plays Through Groin Injury To Post 90 Yards
one year ago

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper played well in a 26-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2. Heading into Week 2 Cooper was tagged as questionable after reaggravating a groin injury in practice earlier in the week, but he was able to suit up. He wound up leading Cleveland in all receiving categories in the disappointing loss, catching seven of his 10 targets for 90 yards, and making several big catches on third downs to extend drives. Cooper now has caught 12 passes for 127 yards across the first two games of the season. He will be on the WR1/WR2 borderline in a plus matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3.
