Alexander Mattison Returns To Practice Thursday
12 months ago

Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison (concussion) returned to a limited practice on Thursday after sitting out of Wednesday's session due to a concussion he suffered in the Week 10 win over the New Orleans Saints. It's progress for Mattison, but he will still need to clear the league's concussion protocol before this Sunday night's contest versus the Broncos in Denver. The good news is fantasy managers that have been using Mattison in their starting lineups should know by Saturday as to whether he's cleared the protocols. If the 25-year-old is unable to gain clearance for Week 11, Ty Chandler should see the majority of backfield work for the Vikes, with Kene Nwangwu also seeing an increased workload. Chandler would jump into RB3/flex territory if he gets the start in a great matchup against the Broncos.
