Alexander Mattison Finds End Zone In Week 9 Win
one year ago

Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison carried the ball 16 times for 44 yards and added two receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 9 win over the Falcons. Mattison's longest play of the day was a 47-yard reception, which made up for another inefficient day on the ground. Cam Akers (ankle) was carted to the locker room in this one, so the Minnesota offense could be leaning heavily on Mattison out of the backfield moving forward. The Boise State product should be able to maintain RB2 value for the rest of the season despite his inefficiency this season due to volume alone.
