Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison will look to bounce back against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8 after totaling just 42 yards from scrimmage in Week 7. The Packers' run defense has been generous this season, allowing 4.5 yards per carry and six rushing touchdowns through six games. Despite the solid matchup, Mattison has some risk attached to him, as Cam Akers looks to be lurking in the Minnesota backfield. The former Los Angeles Ram out-carried Mattison in Week 7 and gained 61 yards from scrimmage on 12 touches. If Mattison and Akers continue to split opportunities evenly, it would make neither an attractive fantasy option. At best, the Boise State product is a low-end RB2/FLEX option in Week 8.
