Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (shoulder) has been quiet in the 2023 campaign but had his most productive outing of the season in a 39-38 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He was questionable heading into Sunday's game against Cleveland with a shoulder issue but was able to shake off the injury by catching all three of his targets for 53 yards. Indianapolis will likely see an increase in passing volume with quarterback Gardner Minshew as the starter, but not enough to make Pierce a strong option moving forward. He'll face the New Orleans Saints fifth-best pass defense in Week 8 and is mainly only an option in deeper leagues for that matchup.
