AJ Dillon Leads Packers In Rushing And Receiving Yards
one year ago

Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon took 15 carries for 61 yards and caught both of his targets for 34 yards during the team's 17-19 loss to the Denver Broncos. The 25-year-old out-touched returning starter Aaron Jones 17 to 11 and was much better than the veteran on Sunday. While Dillon was able to lead the team in both rushing and receiving yards, he was not overly impactful for fantasy. That stat is more of an indictment of the Packer's offense than a testament to Dillon's production. Jones was coming off of a hamstring injury, so there is no guarantee that this split in reps and carries is the new norm moving forward. With that said, fantasy managers can feel a bit more confident flexing the fourth-year back in plus matchups. Dillon will be a flex option next week against the Minnesota Vikings.
