AJ Dillon Gains Season-High 70 Yards Rushing Against Steelers
one year ago

Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon had nine carries for 70 yards and caught one of three targets for 11 yards during the team's 23-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lead back Aaron Jones tallied 17 touches compared to Dillon's 10, but the 25-year-old out-gained the veteran 81 to 54 and was much more effective throughout the game. Dillon did what fantasy managers hoped Jones would do on the ground against the Steelers and made this an even more tough-to-trust timeshare moving forward. Last week, Jones received 24 touches compared to Dillon's 10. The gap closed this week, but the fourth-year back did not see an increased workload. Perhaps the team will lean on the run game more next week against the Chargers to keep the turnovers to a minimum, but even if they do, both Dillon and Jones will be closer to flex territory than anything else in Week 11.
