AJ Dillon Dealing With Broken Thumb

Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon (thumb) suffered a broken thumb in Monday night's upset loss to the New York Giants on the final drive of the game. "Got hit with a helmet lined up the right way," Dillon said. The 25-year-old had his thumb wrapped on Thursday and is still figuring out if he can give it a go and play in Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The fact that Dillon has yet to practice this week isn't a good sign. Aaron Jones (knee) has missed the last three games due to an MCL sprain he suffered in Week 11, so Green Bay's backfield could be down to Patrick Taylor as the lead back if neither Dillon nor Jones are able to play this weekend. Jones has put in two limited practices this week, though, so he figures to have a good shot at ending his three-game absence. We'll have a better idea of how the Packers' backfield will look come Sunday after they release their final Week 15 injury report on Friday.
