Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon will take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 9. The 25-year-old has been the lead back even with Aaron Jones (hamstring) back from his injury the past two weeks, but that may change this weekend. The veteran's back seems to be near 100% after head coach Matt LaFleur stated that they are "ready to cut him loose" against the Rams. While that does not mean Dillion will see little to no usage, there is a good chance his role as the backfield leader is over. Fantasy managers already had a tough time trusting the fourth-year back in a timeshare, but now he is an even riskier option against the Rams. Los Angeles allows the ninth-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs and is at the top of the league in stopping receiving backs. Dillon's upside seems to be capped this week, making him a volatile flex option at best.
