Aaron Rodgers Won't Practice Wednesday

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) will not take part in practice on Wednesday. It's another planned day of rest for Rodgers, who could potentially still return in 2023 after tearing his Achilles in the season opener. However, if the Jets continue losing, it's unlikely we'll see the 40-year-old take the field late in the season, even if he's physically able to do so. The Jets are going back to former first-round QB Zach Wilson as their starter in Week 14 against the Houston Texans after he was benched the last two games in favor of Tim Boyle. Expect Rodgers to return to limited practice participation later this week, but those holding out hope that he'll return this year are probably going to be disappointed.
