Aaron Rodgers Unlikely To Return In 2023

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) is unlikely to return this season, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "If the Jets are eliminated from the playoff picture, Rodgers is not expected to play," writes Rapoport. Given that the Jets are 4-7 and Rodgers , who recently returned to practice, wasn't planning to play again until Week 16 at the earliest, there's a very strong chance that the team is eliminated by then. Since there's no reason to rush Rodgers back for meaningless games, it looks like we could see a combination of Tim Boyle, Trevor Siemian, and Zach Wilson at quarterback for the Jets over the final six games. All three of them lack fantasy appeal and could have trouble supporting fantasy-relevant production from players like Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall.
