Aaron Rodgers To Be Activated From Injured Reserve
11 months ago

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) will be activated from Injured Reserve on Wednesday, according to a source. Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday that he's not ready to play yet after tearing his Achilles in the season opener, but he will continue his rehab with the team during practices. The 40-year-old has been on an accelerated rehab plan and has made remarkable progress from a serious injury in a short amount of time, but with the Jets now officially eliminated from playoff contention, it remains unlikely that the Jets will risk throwing Rodgers out on the field for the final three games of the regular season. Zach Wilson is also dealing with a concussion and seems unlikely to play in Week 16 on Christmas Eve against the Washington Commanders, so Trevor Siemian could make his first start of the year.
