Aaron Rodgers Tells Pat McAfee He's Ahead Of Schedule
one year ago

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) told reporters on Tuesday that he's "obviously ahead of schedule" in his rehab from surgery on his Achilles tendon. Rodgers was injured during Week 1 and went for surgery to repair the tendon shortly thereafter. He has been recovering quickly and was even spotted doing some throwing on Sunday before the Jets game against the Philadelphia Eagles. That being said, Rodgers did caution that he still has several hurdles to clear before he's able to get back to the playing field. He was unwilling to put a timetable on his potential return, although Rodgers did say that he wants to play this year. In the meantime, the Jets will continue to roll with Zach Wilson under center.
