Aaron Rodgers Has Successful Surgery
one year ago

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) said that "surgery went great yesterday" to fix a torn left Achilles that he suffered in the Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury on the first offensive series of his Jets tenure and will now miss the entire 2023 season. It's a tough break for the Jets and the 39-year-old future Hall of Famer. All signs point to Rodgers trying to come back in his age-40 campaign with the Jets next year, but he'll face a grueling rehab first. New York is moving forward with Zach Wilson and Tim Boyle in their QB room. The move from Rodgers to Wilson for the rest of the year is definitely a downgrade for all of the team's offensive skill players, most notably receivers Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard.
