Aaron Rodgers Expects To Re-Join Team By Thanksgiving

Last week, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) said he is pushing to return to action by mid-December after suffering a torn Achilles against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. On Tuesday during a regular appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers said he expects to be back with the Jets on a full-time basis by Thanksgiving. This would put the veteran back at the Jets' facility in just over a week. Obviously, he doesn't mean he would play right away, but it would give him around a month to prepare before his hopeful return date. Although Rodgers is clearly optimistic about returning this season, expectations should be tempered after a major injury to begin the year. A December return to the lineup would be shocking.
