Aaron Rodgers Does Some Throwing
one year ago

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles), who is only four-plus weeks removed from surgery to fix a torn Achilles, ditched his crutches and threw for five minutes at around 15 yards from his target during pre-game warmups before the team's Week 6 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The 39-year-old future Hall of Famer and four-time MVP was stationary while throwing, but he was stepping into each pass and put weight on his surgically repaired left Achilles. Head coach Robert Saleh said Rodgers' rate of recovery is "unbelievable." Rodgers said it's his "goal" to defy the odds and play again this year, but that would likely mean the Jets would have to make the postseason. Even if that transpires, it might be unlikely that we'd see Rodgers play this year.
