Aaron Rodgers Does Some More Throwing Monday

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) was seen getting some more throwing in on the field on Monday night before the Week 9 contest against the visiting Los Angeles Chargers. Rodgers was also taking three-step drops before letting it rip, even uncorking a few 50-yard bombs. The 39-year-old future Hall of Famer has made incredible progress from a torn left Achilles he suffered in the season opener, but it could still be more of a pipe dream for him to return later this year. Rodgers has yet to resume jogging and recently said he hit somewhat of a plateau in his rehab, but he's pain-free while walking and looked pretty good throwing the ball on Monday night. The Jets would have to make the playoffs first and foremost for Rodgers to have a shot at playing again this year. They are currently 4-3 and in second place in the AFC East, two games behind the Miami Dolphins.
