Aaron Jones Underwhelming In Return
one year ago

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones took eight carries for 35 yards and caught three of five targets for 22 yards during the team's 17-19 loss to the Denver Broncos. In his return from a hamstring injury, the veteran back was underwhelming, to say the least, against the league's worst run defense. Backup AJ Dillon, who has struggled in his own right this year, was given 17 touches compared to Jones' 11 and looked better in every aspect. There is a chance the Packers worked the 28-year-old back into the game slowly due to the hamstring injury, but there was no indication they were going to do so prior to the start of the game. Jones will have a chance to redeem himself against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings next week.
