Aaron Jones Puts In Limited Practice Wednesday
11 months ago

Green Bay Packers running backs Aaron Jones (finger, knee) and rookie Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) were both limited in the team's practice on Wednesday. Jones ended a three-game absence when he suited up in Week 15's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but now he's dealing with a finger injury as well. In his return last Sunday, the 29-year-old played half the offensive snaps and handled 13 carries for 53 yards while catching four passes for 16 yards with AJ Dillon sitting out due to a broken right thumb. Jones should play this weekend, but he's averaging a career-low 3.8 yards per carry in 2023 and could once again face limited touches if Dillon returns from his thumb injury to split the backfield workload. Wilson has been on Injured Reserve since Week 12 and is now eligible to return from IR, but it remains to be seen if he'll officially be activated for RB depth before this Saturday.
