Aaron Jones Disappoints Again In Week 8
one year ago

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones took seven carries for 29 yards and caught four of five passes for 17 additional yards during the team's 10-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The veteran has failed to put together a single double-digit fantasy performance since going down with a hamstring injury in Week 1 and could go down as one of the worst fantasy picks of the year. AJ Dillon took six carries for just 11 yards but was better in the passing game than Jones this week by a wide margin. If Jones is going to lose targets in the passing game to Dillon on top of carries while the offense is struggling to score, then he is going to be tough to trust moving forward, regardless of the matchup. Next week's showdown with the Rams is not great on paper, and the veteran should be considered nothing more than a volatile flex option for Week 9.
