According to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco 49ers guard Aaron Banks (concussion) sustained a concussion in the team's 38-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 12. It's another blow to a 49ers squad whose injuries continue piling up on both sides of the ball. San Francisco was already down tackle Trent Williams (ankle) for the contest despite the team believing he could play. With a premiere matchup against the Buffalo Bills on tap next Sunday night, the 27-year-old could be in danger of missing the contest if he cannot clear the league's concussion protocol in a timely fashion. Banks had appeared in every game for San Francisco this season, registering just under 96% of the team's snaps. His practice participation this week will be telling of his status for Sunday's road tilt.
