San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan says he has not yet made decisions on quarterback Brock Purdy and other key veterans for Week 18's regular-season finale versus the Los Angeles Rams. Shanahan also says those choices will be made on a case-by-case basis as the week goes on. It leaves the game statuses up in the air for not only Purdy, but also the likes of Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle. Christian McCaffrey (calf) will use the week to recover from the strained right calf that he suffered in Week 17's win over the Washington Commanders, since the Niners secured the top seed in the NFC with the victory. There could be plenty of DFS value plays to go around on Sunday if some mix of San Fran's stars are rested, and season-long fantasy managers whose leagues are still running will need to stay tuned throughout the course of the practice week for a clearer picture on who might be active.
